We are an independent surveying company specializing in damp diagnosis, timber treatments and repair and consultation as a result of any building material defects.

Dave McHugh is our certified surveyor in remedial treatments as verified with the Property Care Association (PCA). He began his career in 1985 with a local preservation company, working on many different private and public buildings and has an advanced craft certificate in carpentry and joinery.

A company was created in 1998 and continued until recently as building preservation contractors.

We have been Federation of Master Builders members for over 20 years. We have gained a vast amount of experience over 40 years within the preservation building sector and timber construction. This has given us great knowledge as to how buildings of different periods are constructed and the materials used.

Understanding timber construction, working with different types of softwoods, European and tropical hardwoods has given us more knowledge than the average surveyor.
