Preservatech UK Ltd are independent damp and timber surveyors and building defects consultants based in the northwest of England.
We hold the CSRT qualification as assessed by the PCA, (Property Care Association) which is nationally recognised and approved by mortgage lenders.
We have previously worked as contractors in the building preservation sector for nearly 40 years and have been Federation of Master Builders members for over 20 years, giving us a vast amount of knowledge and experience in building construction.
Our aim is to provide honest professional advice and inspection of any defects affected by moisture which could lead to expensive repairs and provide a cost-effective solution.
All our surveys are chargeable based on the size of the property. POA. We are not affiliated with any suppliers or contractors and give totally independent advice.
We are one of only a handful of companies to provide a full in-house service from drone roof surveys to underground CCTV drain inspections. This eliminates the need for multiple contractors saving time and money. One appointment can include all separate surveys.
It is often the case that a basic survey (i.e. pre-purchase), can restrict our findings due to lack of access. This can hinder our diagnosis and treatment.
In most cases, we can provide a specialist invasive survey which can involve removing part of the fabric of the building to give us more access.
This is a well requested survey that can pinpoint areas of unwanted moisture that others have missed, saving any unnecessary expensive treatments.
Our surveys use the latest diagnostic tools and equipment and are all conducted in house by our surveyor.
Our reports are written up usually within 48 hours of the site survey and are in laymen’s terms for easy understanding.
